The brackets for Cisco 2691 routers are shown in Figure 1.
The slots in the brackets marked RIGHT are for securing cables with cable ties.

Attaching Brackets
Attach the mounting brackets to the chassis as shown in Figure 2, Figure 3, Figure 4, or Figure 5, using the screws provided in
the bracket kit. Use a number 2 Phillips screwdriver to install the bracket screws.
Your chassis installation must allow unrestricted airflow for chassis cooling. For mounting in a 19-inch rack, be

sure to install the wide bracket (marked RIGHT) on the side where the cooling fans are located. For installation on
a desktop, keep at least 1 inch of clear space beside the cooling fans.
