I cannot put my washer dryer door to open and red light will not go out.
The door of the Hotpoint WDL 520 P/G/A/K washer dryer won't open because the door lock indicator light is still on; the door will only open once this light goes out after the program finishes. If there is no power to the machine, manual unlocking is required. The red (‘START/PAUSE’) indicator light is on and function indicator lights flash rapidly due to a machine error. In this case, switch off and unplug the machine, wait about 1 minute, then plug it back in and switch it on. If the problem continues, contact Technical Assistance Service.
