    Check for a device called Vortex AU88x0 Multifunction PCI Platform. If you see this, it means the multifunction adapter, which works with the other Aureal-specific device drivers, was installed properly. Go back to the main list of devices in the Device Manager tab.

    The central information database for Window NT is the Registry. Due to the importance of this file, exercise great care when editing or modifying it. Aureal recommends that only experienced users attempt editing the Registry and, before making any changes, you backup the Registry database. You can save (or export) the database in text format as a .REG file by using the Registry Editor (REGEDIT.EXE).
