SETTING THE CLOCK
This unit can set the time and date automatically by
referring to a channel that carries a clock information. If a
PBS (public broadcasting station) is available in your area,
follow "Auto Clock Setting" below. If not, follow "Manual
Clock Setting" on page 32.
Make sure
• The antennaJcable TV connections are correct.
• Channels are set. (Refer to pages27-29.)

ANALOG AUTO CLOCK SETTING
Press [SETUP] and use

[ENTER].
Use [... /

to select "Clock", then
press [ENTER].
"Clock" menu will appear.

to select "Auto Clock
Setting", then press [ENTER].
Press [SETUP] to exit.
Press [I/O ON/STANDBY] to turn off
the unit.
This unit will search for the time only when the
power is off. Leave it off for at least 15 minutes
to give this unit time to set the clock.

Manual Auto Clock Setting
If the unit chooses an incorrect PBS channel, set the PBS
channel manually by following the steps below.
Press [SETUP] to exit and turn off the
unit.
Select "Manual" at step 4, then press
[ENTER].
Use [the Number buttons] or [... /
'Y]
to enter your PBS channel number,
then press [ENTER].
