BATTERY REPLACEMENT

Replace battery when no light
appears. Locate battery
compartment on the Filter Life
Indicator Module (12). Pull out
battery holder and replace
battery. Keep the battery and
battery compartment dry. The
electronic indicator will retain the
correct filter life information when
the battery tray is removed and
replaced. A new battery should
last up to 2 years under normal
operating conditions.

FAUCET DISASSEMBLY

This faucet uses a standard Moen
cartridge that will provide years
of trouble free usage. If
necessary, the following
procedure shows how to remove
and replace this cartridge.
CAUTION: Make sure water
supply is turned off before
proceeding.
1. Turn the Handle Retainer
Ring Counterclockwise (CCW)
and remove handle
assembly from Valve Body.
2. Remove the Cartridge Nut
using the removal tool (not
supplied). Call the
PureTouch helpline number
noted below if you need a
cartridge removal tool (part
#14272).
