2-2. Error Messages
The error message is superimposed on the viewfinder screen if any fault occurs during the power-on
sequence or normal operation.
Error message Operation
STORED DATA:NG Blinks on the viewfinder screen during the
power-on sequence.
CAM? Displayed during the power-on sequence or
normal operation.
VTR? Displayed during the power-on sequence or
normal operation.

Remedy
The white and/or black balance memory data
have been lost. Adjust the white and black
balance again.
A fault has been detected in the camera.
Consult the Sony service engineer.
A fault (HUMID or SLACK) has been detected
in the VTR. Check the warning indicators on
the LCD display.
