OPERATION
MOBILE DESOOT
The mobile Desoot feature will send a request to the vehicle to start the Desoot process
of the diesel particulate filter. This feature should only be used if the diesel particulate
filter gets clogged and will not go into mobile Desoot mode. Follow the on screen in-
struction provided by the GT.
Notice: Mobile Desoot function should only be used
if absolutely necessary. If the diesel particulate filter
clogs often on a particular vehicle it may be an issue
with the particulate filter itself and it may need to
be serviced by an OEM dealer.
DPF BURN-OFF
(GM 6.6L DURAMAX '07.5-'09 VEHICLES ONLY)
The DPF Burn-off feature will send a request to the vehicle to start the DPF burn-off of
the diesel particulate filter. This feature should only be used if the diesel particulate
filter gets clogged and will not go into mobile Desoot mode. Follow the on screen in-
structions provided by the GT.

To update the SD card for the Bully Dog Gauge GT Tuner:
1. Purchase a new SD card if the original is lost or broken.
2. Insert the SD card into a PC using a USB to SD Card Reader.
3. Open "My Computer" and locate the SD card under “Devices with removable storage.”
4. Right-click the SD card and select “Format.”
5. In the formatting dialog box, select “FAT” as the file system.
6. Change the Volume Label to “Bully.”
7. Use the formatted SD card with the Update Agent software to perform internet upgrades.
