OPERATOR’S MANUAL 7.2 VOLT GRASS ShEAR/ShRUbbER UT44170 Your grass shear/shrubber has been engineered and manufactured to our high standard for dependability, ease of opera- tion, and operator safety. Properly cared for, it will give you years of rugged, trouble-free performance.
Do not attempt to remove cut material when blade is moving. Make sure trimmer is off and padlock (not included) or lockout pin is installed when clearing jammed materials from blades.
IMPORTANT SAFETy INSTRUCTIONS Recharge only with the charger specified by the manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for one type of battery pack may create a risk of fire when used with another battery pack. Under abusive conditions, liquid may leak from the battery, avoid contact.
CAUTION: To reduce the risk of injury, charge only UT44170. Other types of batteries may burst, causing personal injury or damage. An extension cord should not be used unless absolutely necessary.
