Autotune in Dish Network receivers is a feature that allows the receiver to automatically switch to a specific channel at a scheduled time. It can be used to tune the receiver to a preferred program or channel without manual intervention. However, in some cases, autotune may force the receiver into sleep mode, depending on the settings and the type of channel selected.
