Push to Talk Push to Talk over cellular (PTT) is a two-way radio service available over a GSM/GPRS cellular network (network service). Push to talk provides direct voice communication connected with the push of the volume up key. Push to Talk can be used to have a conversation with one person or with a group of people having compatible devices.

Connect to and disconnect from the Push to Talk service To connect to or disconnect from the Push to Talk service, select Menu > Push to Talk > Switch PTT on. Indicates the Push to Talk connection is active Indicates that the service is temporarily unavailable The phone automatically tries to reconnect to the service until it is disconnected from the Push to Talk service.
Make a group call To make a call to the default group, press and hold the volume up key. A tone sounds indicating that the access is granted, and the phone displays its nickname and group name. To make a call to a non-default group, select Group list in the Push to Talk menu, scroll to the desired group, press and hold the volume up key A user must Press and hold the volume up key the entire time they are talking, and hold the phone in front of them so that they can see the display.
