Cautions:
8 If your garage has a low ceiling, remove the antenna from your car before entering to avoid breakage
of the antenna.
8 Be sure to remove the antenna before cleaning your car in a car wash.
8 Do not apply paint or wax to the antenna because such a substance may adversely affect the sensitiv-
ity of the antenna. Remove snow, if it covers the antenna, because it may also lower the antenna sen-
sitivity.
8 Tighten the antenna rod securely because a loose rod may lower the sensitivity.
8 Keep the screws tightened securely while the antenna is in use.
Removing the Antenna Temporarily
1. Remove the screws using a hexagonal wrench.
2. Remove the antenna from the base.
