Programming Fax Archive Settings (DX-1000)
Programming the Sender's Information using the "Sender Selection"
The Sender of outgoing faxes needs to be identified as part of the new requirement (Type 2). To set up
the Sender (up to 24 can be preset), follow the steps below:

Enter the Sender Selection number (01 – 24)

Enter your User Name using character keys (up to
25 characters and digits) and Press SET
Ex: JOHN SMITH

Enter an email address to be used in the From
field of the email header using character keys (up
to 60 characters).
Ex: j_smith@xyz.com

Press SET
To record another User Name, repeat step 7.
To returns to standby, press STOP.

Note: 1. If ABBR No. 000 is programmed with an email address, then a Sender Name/Email Address must
be programmed under "Sender Selection". If not, the DX-1000 will not allow any fax transmissions.
2. If ABBR No. 000 is programmed with a fax phone number, then "Sender Selection" can be skipped
for fax transmission.
