    CARE & MAinTEnAnCE Replacing The Filter The filters used in all of Alen Air Purifiers are not designed to be washed, cleaned or other- wise reused. Over time, the filters become overloaded with particles, decreasing their filtration performance. We recommend regular filter replacements (at least every 6 months with normal use) to extend the life of your air purifier and maximize performance.

    How To Replace The Filter 1. Push down the filter cover tab and lift the filter cover off. 2. Pull out each used filter; the T300 has two filters that should be replaced at the same time. 3. Take the new filter out of the plastic bag; distinguish the front side from the back side of the filter.

    Place the UV light holder back over the UV light and secure the screw for the wire harness. Re-secure the cover for the UV light compartment. Used UV bulbs are recyclable. Maintenance notes: Always unplug the unit when installing a filter or replacing the UV light. Distinguish the front side from the back side of the filter.
