Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on the phone to be connected to the unit. Search for a new Bluetooth device from the phone (this may take up to 30 seconds). Select "RETROSOUND" from the Bluetooth device list. Some devices may require you to enter a PIN. If prompted, enter "0000" for the PIN.

MP3 (MPEG Audio Layer-3} and WMA (Windows Media Audio) is a format for compressed audio files. When the Newport radio is in USB mode (USB 1 or USB 2}, you can play MP3 and unprotected (no DRM) WMA files off the flash drive.
