Description of Parts Pre-Start Up 1) Check engine oil level. a) Generator should be on level ground to ensure proper reading. b) Remove oil dipstick and wipe with clean cloth (3). c) Insert dipstick back into the neck until the threads meet. (It is not necessary to re-thread the dipstick.) d) Remove the dipstick again and view the oil level (between 1 and 2). -
