Some descriptions might not apply to your particular computer. Before you go to the checkout guide, be sure to read the following important notes.

    For some possible configurations of the computer, PC-Doctor might not run correctly. To avoid this problem, you need to initialize the computer setup by use of the ThinkPad Setup program before you run PC-Doctor. To enter the ThinkPad Setup program, do as follows: 1.

    Supervisor password A supervisor password (SVP) protects the system information stored in the ThinkPad Setup program. The user must enter the SVP in order to get access to the ThinkPad Setup program and change the system configuration. Attention: If the SVP has been forgotten and cannot be made available to the service technician, there is no service procedure to reset the password.
