Questions and answers
Our Noritz N-0631S-OD tankless water heater stopped working during a very cold snap. The unit is flashing three times. We reset the unit as recommended but it is still flashing three times.
The manual states that when an error code appears, the display and operation light will flash together. If the Noritz N-0631S-OD tankless water heater is flashing three times, it indicates an ignition error. To resolve this:
1. Check whether the gas valve is open.
2. Press the power button to turn the unit off.
3. Open a hot water fixture and turn the unit back on.
4. If the flashing stops, the problem is resolved.
If the issue persists, further troubleshooting or professional assistance may be required.
