When in the green area the batteries are fully charged. When in the yellow area the batteries need recharging and when in the red area the batteries urgently need recharging.

    Golden Liteway GL-100 Owner’s Manual Freewheel Device When the vehicle is switched off the brakes are automatically engaged. This is called “failsafe braking”. If the batteries are flat, the same thing happens. There may be occasions where you may wish to move the vehicle without power. To do this there is a freewheel device fitted.

There are two braking systems. The first works with the accelerator. When the accelerator is released the scooter will automatically brake and bring the scooter to a stop.

At the rear of the vehicle are two bars. Locate the lower bar and pull it towards you. This releases the lock.

When you receive your vehicle the batteries are only partially charged – fully charge before use preferably over night. Place your machine in an area that is dry and well ventilated. Make sure a 110/120 volt outlet is nearby.
