1. Hold down the Stop button and the Speed increase button. 2. Insert the key into the console. 3. Release the Stop button and the Speed increase button. 4. Press the Stop button again. 5. Press the Incline increase or decrease button.
The treadmill will automatically rise to the maximum incline level and then return to the minimum level to recalibrate the incline system. If the incline does not begin calibrating, repeat steps 4 and 5. Once the calibration is complete, remove the key.

3. Locate the Upright Wire (63) bundled between the Base (74) and the Belly Pan (52). Remove all ties securing the Upright Wire. Route the Upright Wire into the Base and out of the indi- cated hole. Press a Base Cap (70) into each side of the Base (74).

5. Hold the Right Upright (33) against the Base (74). Be careful not to pinch the Upright Wire (63). Insert a 3/8" x 3 1/4" Screw (2) with a 3/8" Star Washer (3) into the top hole in the Right Upright (33).

8. Remove the four screws (D) from the Left and Right Handrails (59, 64). Discard the screws. 9. Attach the Console Crossbar (61) to the Left and Right Uprights (66, 33) with four #10 x 3/4" Screws (8) and four #10 Star Washers (23). Start all four Screws, and then tighten them.
