Inserting the batteries

Please note
Your BT Duet 60 is not supplied with batteries. However, you
will require batteries to be able to use the Caller Display feature
on your phone.
1. Lift off the battery compartment cover by pulling
back the plastic latch.
2. Insert 3 x AA alkaline batteries (not supplied)
according to the polarity markings inside the

battery compartment.

3. Replace the battery cover.

Battery low
When the batteries are low and need replacing, the
will be displayed.

Removing the batteries
If you ever need to remove the batteries, lift off the battery
compartment cover by pulling back the plastic catch.
Insert your fingernail under the end of the batteries to pull
them out.

WARNING
When replacing the batteries you must install 3 x new AA
alkaline batteries within 1 minute of removing the old batteries
or you risk losing all your Caller Display and memory information.

Connecting the handset and line cords

1. Plug one end of the handset cord into the handset
socket and the other end into the socket at the
end of the base.
2. Plug the telephone line cord into the socket on the
bottom of the base. Plug the other end into the
telephone wall socket.

To use the phone on a desk
Thread the telephone line cord through the groove toward the
back of the base.

To wall mount your phone
Refer to page 15 of this guide.
