To replace the hose on a Bissell PowerTrak Compact:
1. Unplug the vacuum.
2. Recline the handle.
3. Unscrew the three Phillips head screws to remove the brush access plate.
4. Pull out the brush.
5. Remove the screw securing the lower hose.
6. Push a broomstick through the hose toward the brush area to clear debris.
7. Inspect the lower hose for damage.
