Questions and answers
How do I relight my pilot light? My Lennox fireplace is P/N 506018-47.
Pilot light is on, lennox fireplace isn't working. Model mpd3530cnm
The Lennox MPD-3530CNM fireplace may not be working despite the pilot light being on due to issues such as a clogged or incorrect orifice, improper gas line connections, or damaged components like the ignitor assembly. The installation instructions suggest checking the pilot orifice and replacing it if necessary, ensuring that all pipe fittings are properly sealed with the correct compounds, and verifying that the pilot assembly is securely mounted. If the problem persists, inspecting the gas flow and verifying the venting system for blockages may help resolve the issue.

Cleaning the glass door
Sir/Madam 3/26/2025 Hello, I would like to change the venting on a Lennox (MPD4540CNM-B) from rear vent possibly to a top vent. I have a customer who has a problem with the height of the termination cap outside of his house. People hit their heads when walking by at night. The fireplace is currently in operation. It is rear vented horizontally thru the wall. From the rear of the cabinet to the inside of wall is 10". I would like to move the termination cap up approx. 2’ I need to know what I need to gain that 2' of height at the cap. I don't know what is on top of the cabinet. Have not opened the wall yet. My thoughts: Option 1 Cap off rear opening Open top opening Install starter collar (don’t know) Install 1’ pipe vertical Install elbow Install pipe to the termination cap Option 2 (have 10” between wall and FP cabinet) At rear install elbow facing up Install vertical pipe (approx. 3’) Install elbow Install horizontal pipe to the termination cap Thanks Phil Phone—732-600-9260 Email---makinwaves6@gmail.com
