    The BIOS version installed on your system appears on the screen while booting the workstation. The following procedure describes how to update a Linux workstation to the certified BIOS version required by your Autodesk Effects or Editing application. To update the BIOS on your workstation: Load the DKU CD in the CD-ROM drive on the workstation.

Each firmware is itself associated to a DVI-Ramp version and a hardware version. If the firmware on your DVI-Ramp does not match the hardware version listed in the table below, you must update the firmware to the certified version.
