3.7 Splitting or Merging Hard Disk Drive

3.7.1

Splitting HDD

A single HDD can be split into two blocks, each of which can be used as a member of a logical
drive.
Split a single HDD in the following procedure:
1. Click [Physical Drive View] in the Tree View.
2. Click the Split tab in the Management Window.
Type the size of the first block in [Split Size]. Note that the size should be specified in
MB.
Put a checkmark on the [Select] checkbox of the HDD to be split in the Physical Drive
Overview.
