9 Warning
Use the child locks whenever
children are occupying the rear
seats.
Using a key or suitable screwdriver,
turn button on rear door lock to the
horizontal position. The door cannot
be opened from inside.
For deactivation, turn the child lock to
the vertical position.

Opening
Operate the button above the number
plate and lift the tailgate.
If the tailgate is open when the ignition
is switched on, control indicator 1
illuminates in the instrument cluster
3 90.
Central locking system 3 20.
Closing
Use the interior handle.
Do not operate the button above the
number plate while closing the
tailgate, as this will unlock it again.
