    5.0 MASTER UNIT FUNCTION The VLC485 can be used in as a stand-alone unit or as part of a system. As part of a system, the unit may be used with another VLC485 or with a PC. The function is enabled through the menu. Press the MENU button. Use the POUND (#) key to scroll to MASTER UNIT: Master Unit. Press STAR (*) to toggle between YES MASTER UNIT: to enable and NO to disable. Press the POUND (#) key to enable the selection. Press MENU to exit the menu mode.
