  • Page 4 Warnings, safety & care • To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose in-ear headphones to rain or moisture, and do not open or attempt to open the in-ear headphones. • Keep out of reach of children. Small parts may be a choking hazard. This product is not intended for use by children under the age of three. • Consult your physician or audiologist if you have problems hear- ing, excessive wax build-up or any discomfort after use of the in-ear headphones. • In particularly dry air conditions, mild tingling may be felt on your ears. This is a result of static electricity accumulated in the body and not a malfunction of the in-ear headphones. This effect can be minimized by wearing clothes made from natural fibers. • These in-ear headphones are assembled in a facility where they could come in contact with chemicals covered by Proposition 65.
  • Page 5 • Keep eartips clean at all times, especially before inserting in your ears. • If any dust or ear wax is inside the eartip, you may experience a degradation of sound quality. • Any dust or earwax on the outside of the eartip may cause dis- comfort or pain. • Remove in-ear headphones if they cause any discomfort or you have difficulty inserting the eartips. Ears are sensitive and you should never force anything into the ear canal. • The eartips may deteriorate due to long-term storage or use. Re- place the eartips if they show any signs of deterioration, such as looseness, tearing, cracking or holes. • Install the eartips firmly onto the in-ear headphones. If an eartip detaches and remains in your ear, get help to safely remove it. • Do not submerge or expose the in-ear headphones to water. • Protect your in-ear headphones by storing them in the protective case when not in use.
  • Page 6 Please listen safely For traffic safety, do not use in-ear headphones while driving or cycling. Do not wear in-ear headphones while operating machinery. Adhere to local laws regarding the use of in-ear headphones. Listening with in-ear headphones at high volume may affect your hearing, including causing permanent damage. Ringing in your ears or other discomfort can indicate that the volume is too high. Hearing health is critical to enjoyment and the quality of life. Protect your hearing by listening with your in-ear headphones in a responsible manner that protects your long term hearing health. Velodyne Acous- tics, Inc. is not responsible for hearing loss or damage resulting from the use of this product.

  • Page 8 Wearing the in-ear headphones Wear the earpiece marked “R” in your right ear and the one marked “L” in your left ear. The left earpiece is the one with the control box on its cable. How to use the cord slider Move the slider up and down to change the split position of the cord. Store your in-ear headphones with the slider all the way up to help reduce cord tangles.

(“VELODYNE”) warrants this product for a period of one year from the date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship subject to the following conditions: This warranty is void if any repairs or service covered by the terms of this warranty are made to any component of this product by anyone other than a VELODYNE factory authorized service representative. VELODYNE is not responsible for damage caused by ordinary wear and tear, cosmetic damage, incorrect connection, accidents, abuse, misuse, negligence, natural or personal disaster or unauthorized modification. This includes exposure to heat, cold, sun, liquids, sand and contaminants. This warranty is limited to products purchased from authorized VELODYNE dealers and finalized within authorized dealer locations. This warranty is void for products sold as-is, display models, open box, second hand, or any other times the product may have been opened or used before your purchase or acquisition of the product. This warranty is void if this product is damaged due to a defect in the device to which it was connected, such as battery leak or electrical fault. Proof of purchase is required. A proof of purchase is a receipt with the product and date of purchase listed from an authorized dealer.
  • Page 13 This warranty is non-transferable under any condition. This warranty is separate and distinct from VELODYNE’s subwoofer warranty. Warranty outside the U.S. and Canada The warranty of this product, if it is sold to a consumer outside of the United States or Canada, shall comply with applicable law and shall be the sole re- sponsibility of the distributor that supplied this product. To obtain any applicable warranty service, please contact the dealer from which you purchased this product or the distributor that supplied this product.
  • Page 14 To obtain service Information regarding service may be obtained from the dealer from whom you purchased the unit, or by contacting VELODYNE customer service. Warranty service must be performed by a VELODYNE factory authorized service representative within the warranty period set forth above. If VELODYNE determines the unit is defective, VELODYNE will, at VELODYNE’s option, repair or replace the product at no charge if the product is forwarded prepaid to a factory authorized service representative. Do not dispose of these in-ear headphones with your other house- hold waste. Instead, take them to a designated collection point for the recycling of waste electrical and electronic equipment. The separate collection and recycling of your electronic waste equipment at the time of disposal will help to conserve natural resources and ensure that it is recycled in a manner that protects human health and the environment.
