REPORTING SAFETY DEFECTS (U.S. ONLY)

If you believe that your vehicle has
a defect which could cause a crash
or could cause injury or death, you
should immediately inform the
National Highway Traffic Safety
Administration (NHTSA) in addition to notifying Ford Motor Company.
If NHTSA receives similar complaints, it may open an investigation, and
if it finds that a safety defect exists in a group of vehicles, it may order a
recall and remedy campaign. However, NHTSA cannot become involved
in individual problems between you, your dealer, or Ford Motor
Company.

The manual does not provide direct troubleshooting steps for cruise control, four-wheel drive, and heat not working simultaneously. However, possible common issues could include:

1. Blown Fuse or Relay – A faulty fuse or relay can disable multiple systems.
2. Faulty Brake Switch – A malfunctioning brake switch can disable cruise control.
3. Vacuum or Electrical Issues – The four-wheel drive system may rely on vacuum lines or electrical connections that could impact multiple functions.
4. Faulty Climate Control Module – If the heating system is not working, there could be an issue with the climate control system.
5. Power Supply Issues – A weak battery, bad alternator, or wiring problems could cause multiple features to fail.

Checking fuses, relays, wiring connections, and system-specific components is recommended.
