Lower basket

^ For larger and heavier items such as
plates, serving platters, saucepans,
bowls, etc.
Small items such as saucers can also
be placed in the lower basket.
Do not place delicate glassware in
the lower basket.

Hinged spikes

The spikes are used for washing plates
and saucers.
Both rows of spikes at the back can be
lowered to make more room for large
items, e.g. pots, pans and dishes.

and then lower the spikes b.
