Preset Equalizer curve Select
You can select the following Equalizer curve.
Display Equalizer curve
"Natural" Natural
"User" User*
"Rock" Rock
"Pops" Pops
"Easy" Easy
"Top 40" Top 40
"Jazz" Jazz
"Game" Game
"iPod" iPod (During iPod source only)
* The Equalizer curve set in the section <Manual Equalizer
Control> is recalled.

Select the source
Press the [SRC] button.
Select a source other than "STDBY".

Enter Function setting mode
Press the [VOL] knob.

Enter Preset Equalizer mode
Turn the [VOL] knob and press it when the
desired item is displayed.
Select "Audio Control"
"Preset Equalizer".

Select the Equalizer curve
Turn the [VOL] knob.
✍ Select the iPod Equalizer curve
You can select from 22 Equalizer curve types for
iPod when "iPod" is selected.
1. Enter iPod Equalizer mode
Press the [VOL] knob.
2. Select the iPod Equalizer curve
Turn the [VOL] knob and press it when the
desired item is displayed.

Exit Function setting mode
Press the [ ] button for at least 1 second.

You can adjust the following Equalizer Control
items.
Band Item
"BAND1" (62.5 Hz) "GAIN" Band level
"EFCT" Bass Effect
"BAND2" (250 Hz) "GAIN" Band level
"BAND3" (1 kHz) "GAIN" Band level
"BAND4" (4 kHz) "GAIN" Band level
"BAND5" (16 kHz) "GAIN" Band level

Press the [SRC] button.
Select a source other than "STDBY".

Press the [VOL] knob.

Enter Manual Equalizer Control mode
Turn the [VOL] knob and press it when the
desired item is displayed.
Select "Audio Control"
Equalizer".

Select the item you want to set
Operation type
Selects the item.
Adjust each item.
Set the value.

Exit Function setting mode
Press the [ ] button for at least 1 second.

curve Select> (page 33), Manual Equalizer Control is disabled.
