3. Error codes

In case of the followng, check agan before you judge the case as trouble.
Phenomenon
When tilting the sewing machine,
the buzzer beeps and the sewng
machne cannot be operated.
Solenods for thread trmmng
Solenods for thread trmmng,
reverse feed, wper, etc. fal to work.
Hand lamp does not lght up.
Even when depressing the pedal
immediately after turning ON the
power, the sewng machne does not
run. When depressing the pedal after
depressng the back part of pedal
once, the sewng machne runs.
The sewng machne does not stop
even when the pedal s returned to
ts neutral poston.
Stop poston of the sewng machne
vares (rregular).
Presser foot does not go up even
when auto-lfter devce s attached.
Touch-back swtch fals to work.
UP position move fails to work when
all lamps on the panel lght up.
Sewng machne fals to run.
Cause
When tilting the sewing machine
wthout turnng OFF the power swtch,
Acton gven on the left sde s taken
for safety sake.
When the fuse for solenoid power
protecton has blown out
Neutral position of the pedal has
vared.
(Neutral position may be shifted when
changng sprng pressure of the pedal
or the lke.)
When tightening the screw in the
handwheel s forgotten at the tme of
adjustment of needle stop poston.
Auto-lfter functon s OFF.
Pedal system is set to KFL system.
Cord of auto-lifter device is not
connected to connector (CN37).
Presser foot is going up by auto-liter
devce.
Auto-lfter devce s not attached.
However, auto-lifter function is ON.
The mode s n the functon settng mode.
The switch on the CTL p.c.b. is
pressed by the bound cords and the
aforementoned mode resulted.
Motor output cord (4P) is disconnected. Connect the cord properly.
Connector (CN30) of motor signal cord
s dsconnected.

Corrective measure
Tlt the sewng machne after turnng
OFF the power.
Check the fuse for solenoid power
protecton.
Execute the automatic neutral
correcton functon of the pedal sensor.
Securely tghten the screw n the
handwheel.
Select "FL ON" by auto-lifter function
selecton.
Change the jumper to PFL setting to
lft the presser foot by depressng the
back part of the pedal.
Connect the cord properly.
Operate the swtch after the presser
foot lowered.
Select "FL OFF" when auto-lifter
devce s not attached.
Remove the under cover. Bundle the
cables by routng them accordng
to the normal routng method as
described in the Instruction Manual.
Connect the cord properly.
