    Introduction This manual is provided by Walter Meier (Manufacturing) Inc., covering the safe operation and maintenance procedures for a JET Model AFS-2000 Air Filtration Unit. This manual contains instructions on installation, safety precautions, general operating procedures, maintenance instructions and parts breakdown.

    Electrical Requirements Electrical connections must be made by a qualified electrician in compliance with all relevant codes. This machine must be properly grounded to help prevent electrical shock and possible fatal injury. In the event of a malfunction or breakdown, grounding provides a path of least resistance for electric current to reduce the risk of electric shock.

    Controls and Features Remote Control: Time button (A, Figure 3) controls the three different settings. 2H will light up on the back of the unit with one press of the time button. The air filtration system will operate for 2 hours then shut off. 4H will light up on the back of the unit by pressing the time button twice.
  • Page 9 Inner Filter: You must remove the two bolts (A, Figure 5) that hold the cover in place. Remove the cover. Remove the inner filter (A, Figure 6) from the side of the cabinet. Replace the cover and four bolts. Accessory Filter: An additional electrostatic filter can be added to this empty slot (B, Figure 6).
