Note:Makesurethat the bolt's shoulderis completelyrecessedinto
the seat bracketwhensecuringthe lock nut. Oncethe lock nuts are
secured,checkto makesurethe seat pivotsup and downfreely.See
the inset in Figure5.

ATTACHING
THE SEAT
If the seatfor yourtractorwas notattachedat thefactory,follow the
applicableinstructionsbelowto attachit.
1.
Removethetwo self-tappingboltsfactory installedon the tractor
and placethe seat bracketin placeoverthe holes. See Figure5.
2.
Usinga 1/4-inchdrive ratchetwith a 3/8" socket,securetheseat
bracketwith the self-tappingbolts.
Do notuse anytype of powertool (e.g. impactgun or electricdrill with
nutdriverattached)when tightening the self-tappingboltsto attach
the seatbracket.
3.
Positionthe seat assemblyoverthe seat mountingbracket,
aligningthe holesprovided.
4.
Installtwo shoulderbolts includedwith yourhardwarepackand
securewith two lock nuts. See Figure4.

SEAT ADJUSTMENT
1.
Toadjust the positionof the seat,removethe adjustmentknob
on the bottomof the seat.Slide the seatforwardor backwardas
desired.Reinstallthe adjustmentknob.Referto Fig.6.

WHEEL
HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
Toadjust the heightof the steeringwheel,this unit is equippedwith
a telescopingsteeringcolumn.Toadjust the heightof the steering
wheel:
1.
Sit in the operator'sseatand placeyour handson the steering
wheel.
2.
Pushthe button (a) on thesteeringcolumnand raiseor lowerthe
steeringwheel(b) to thedesiredposition.See Figure7.
