    GETTING STARTED REAR SEATS Folding Rear Seatback • To fold each rear seatback, pull the strap forward to move the seatback forward and flat. Reclining Rear Seatback • To recline each rear seatback, pull the strap forward just enough to release the seatback latch.

    GETTING STARTED WARNING! • Persons who are unable to feel pain to the skin because of advanced age, chronic illness, diabetes, spinal cord injury, medication, alcohol use, exhaustion or other physical conditions must exercise care when using the seat heater.     OPERATING YOUR VEHICLE ENGINE BREAK-IN RECOMMENDATIONS • A long break-in period is not required for the engine and drivetrain (transmission and axle) in your vehicle. • Drive moderately during the first 300 miles (500 km). After the initial 60 miles (100 km), speeds up to 50 or 55 mph (80 or 90 km/h) are desirable.

    WHAT TO DO IN EMERGENCIES WARNING! You or others can be badly burned by hot engine coolant (antifreeze) or steam from your radiator. If you see or hear steam coming from under the hood, do not open the hood until the radiator has had time to cool.

Block both the front and rear of the wheel diagonally opposite the jacking position. For example, if changing the right front tire, block the left rear wheel.

    WHAT TO DO IN EMERGENCIES JUMP-STARTING PROCEDURES • If your vehicle has a discharged battery it can be jump-started using a set of jumper cables and a battery in another vehicle or by using a portable battery booster pack. Jump-starting can be dangerous if done improperly so please follow the procedures in this section carefully.

    WHAT TO DO IN EMERGENCIES FREEING A STUCK VEHICLE • If your vehicle becomes stuck in mud, sand or snow, it can often be moved by a rocking motion. Turn your steering wheel right and left to clear the area around the front wheels. Then move the shift lever back and forth between REVERSE and DRIVE.
