Carburetor Adjustment
1. Start
the engine and allow it to warm up to normal
operating temperature.
2. Place the throttle lever in the LO position.
3. Turn the pilot screw in or out to the setting that
produces the highest idle rpm. The correct setting
will usually be approximately 3 turns out from
the fully closed position.
4. After the pilot screw is correctly adjusted, turn
the throttle
stop screw to obtain the standard
idle speed.
Standard idle speed: 2,000 2 150 rpm
