2. Measure and attach wall fasteners that are appropriate to the type of wall (drywall, masonry, etc.) and fasten them securely. Wall anchors are not provided by Hitachi. 3. Insert screws (not included) into wall, leaving enough of the screws protruding from the wall to slide into the key slots of the Sound Bar brackets.

Chapter 2 – Indicators and Buttons Top Panel Control Buttons: The Control Buttons are located on the top of the Sound Bar. ① ② ③ ④ ① Power Button: This button turns the Sound Bar on and off. If no audio is received, the Sound Bar will automatically shut off after 30 minutes to save you energy.

Chapter 2 – Indicators and Buttons Remote Control Features & Functions: POWER button: INPUT button: Turns Sound Bar On & Off. Cycles through the inputs: SUB+/- button: D1, D2, Bluetooth, L1, L2 Adjust Subwoofer output level: VOL+/- button: SUB+ to increase. Adjusts sound level.
① 24V DC input: Insert the DC plug of Hitachi provided external AC Adapter here. Caution: Use only provided AC adapter and AC power cord with the Sound Bar. Use of any other adapter may damage the Sound Bar or create a shock hazard.
(consult your device’s operating manual for details). (b) Point the Sound Bar remote control at the Sound Bar’s front panel, then press & hold the remote control’s Bluetooth button until “Hitachi Sound Bar” appears in your audio source device’s Bluetooth device list.

Sound Bar fades on and off to show the Sound Bar is discoverable. 5. After a few seconds “Hitachi Sound Bar” will appear in your audio source device’s Bluetooth list. If “Hitachi Sound Bar” does not appear after 30 seconds, turn the Sound Bar and your audio device off, then back on and try again from step 1 above.

Power button: ① This button turns the Sound Bar on & off. A soft blue LED glows when the power is on.

LEDs as shown below. Note that TONE Mode changes are slight and may be difficult to hear depending on your listening environment and source material. The Hitachi Sound Bar is equalized to provide accurate tonal qualities at all times.

Chapter 5 – Controlling the Sound Convenience and Advanced Features and Indicators: (Cont.) ④ ③ ② ① ① HEARING AID Mode: Press the Hearing AID button on the remote control to boost the volume of higher frequencies providing better sound quality for some listeners. Hearing AID mode produces improved clarity and intelligibility so the elderly and hearing-impaired may be able to enjoy clear sound, sometimes without hearing aids.
Chapter 6 – Care and Service Information Maintenance Make sure that the power cables are removed from the back of the Sound Bar before cleaning. Do not use volatile solvent (such as toluene, rosin and alcohol) to clean the Sound Bar. Solvents may damage the Sound Bar finish and grill cloth.
