Network Setup
1 Enable or disable AP Automatic Updates.

2 View the firmware information displayed per AP type with the following data:
AP Image Type
AP Image File
3 To add a new AP firmware image path, click the Add button. For information on adding a new AP
firmware refer to
4 To edit the details of an AP firmware image path, highlight an AP image type and click the Edit
button. For information on adding a new AP firmware refer to
Image" on page
5 To delete an existing AP firmware image path, highlight an AP image type and click the Delete
button.
NOTE
The delete functionality only deletes the mapping of an AP image type and image file, it does not delete the image
file from the system. To delete the AP image firmware from the system, use the Edit option.

Adding a New AP Firmware Image

To add AP Firmware Image settings:
NOTE
The AP firmware image must exist in the Controller file system, CF or USB before it can be added to the AP
firmware image path using this function. Use the Controller->File Management screen to copy the image to the
Controller. For more information, see
1 Select Network Setup > Access Point from the main menu tree.
2 Click the AP Firmware tab.
3 Click the Add button to display a screen to configure the AP Image Type and AP Image File.

Check this box to enable automatic updates of Access Point firmware
when an Access Point associates with the controller. The AP image file
used for automatic update are specified in the
below.
The AP image type is the model of Access Point the firmware is used
with. Available image types are:
• AP3510
• AP3550
