After trying the methods
below, if the problem
persists,

Make sure the power cord is connected
securely.
Check to see if the TV/VIDEO
setting is
correct: when watching

video tapes, set to VIDEO

Make sure the TV/CABLE
BOX selector is in
the correct position (pages 17, 36).
