You can use this unit to play MP3 format audio recorded for
personal use with a computeretc. onto a CD-R or CD-RW.
play may not be possible in some cases due to the
condtf_onof the recording.
Press POWER the remote DECK,
on or
MP3 playback (Dunng STOP mode)
1) Press ,=V to select an MP3 file (I-j).
2) Press SETor PLAY to startplayback,
Select folder (DuringSTOP mode)
1) Press &V to select a folder (El).
2) Press SET displays files/folders
contained in the folder.
Press OPEN/CLOSE,
and then place a MP3 disc into the disc tray. Select parent folder (During STOP

Display MP3 MENU and start playing
automatically. (The MP3 CD layer is displayed.) 2) Press SET changes to the

NORMAL:
All MP3 files are selected and
played back one time only.
SINGLE REPEAT:
The selected MP3 file is
played back repeatedly.
FOLDER REPEAT:
The MP3 files contained in
the selected folder are played
back repeatedly.
However, folders below the
selected folder are not played
back.
DISC REPEAT:
Air MP3 files are played back
repeatedly.
(The disc layer composition of the
sample OSD above is displayed.)
ForwardlReverse Search
Press FF/SLOW+ or RR/SLOW- during play.
Press PLAY to release.
• Search speed, slow at first, increases with each
additional press of the button up to 4 levels.
Forward/Reverse Track Skip
Press SKIP [IHH of II1_ SKIP during play.
Each press skips a track.
• If pressed within first 3 seconds of playback, skips
to the previous track. If over 3 seconds, returns to
first of that track. (1_141 S KIP only.)
• Only the SKIP IH_l or I_NI SKIP button can be used
for track skip selection during playback.
Place unit into Stop mode before performing folder/
file selection (see above right.)
Press STOP to stop playing.
Press OPEN/CLOSE to ejectthe disc.
The MP3 MENU is closed automatically.
