For the safety of pedestrians, the exterior
mirrors will swing out of their normal
mounting position in the event of an
accident-like impact.
As exterior mirrors are convex, objects are
closer than they appear. Use interior mirror
to judge size and distance of objects.
Do not scrape ice from exterior mirrors or
force them if frozen. Use a de-icer.
Automatic anti-dazzle exterior mirrors 3
Dazzle is automatically reduced.
Exterior mirrors dim to reduce glare
automatically in conjunction with the
automatic anti-dazzle interior mirror 3 -
see page 32, Fig. S13260.
Locks, doors, windows

Interior mirror

To adjust interior mirror, swivel mirror
housing.
Swivel lever on underside of mirror housing
to reduce dazzle at night.
Take care when driving with interior mirror
adjusted for night vision. Rear view may be
slightly distorted in this position.
