Selection of boiler size shouldbe basedupon "Net I=B=R Rating"being
equalto or greaterthanthecalculated heatloss of thebuilding.
The manufacturer should be consulted before selectinga boiler for
installations h avingunusual p ipingand pickuprequirements.

combustible floor, useCombustible Floor BaseNumber42135-1 or 146-
14-031 (2-6 section boilers) or 42135-2 or 146-14-032 (7-9 section

BOILERS FOR USE AT HIGH ALTITUDES
This boiler is factoryequipped for use at altitudesof 0-2,000 feet above
sea level. For use at altitudesabove 2,000 feet abovesea level, the
inputratings are reducedby a change in mainburnerorificesize.
Foraltitudesabove 2,000 feet abovesea level, input ratingsshouldbe
reducedat the rate of 4% for each1,000 feet abovesea level. Consult
the NationalFuelGasCode(NFPA54/ANS! Z223.1-1atest edition),or the
manufacturer for correct orifice sizing information. H igh altitudeorifices
are available from theboilermanufacturer.
