Possible causes include:
1. Battery issues – A bad battery cell can cause insufficient power, leading to flickering headlights, failure to start, and blade stoppage.
2. Poor cable connections – Loose or dirty battery or wiring connections can result in intermittent power, affecting headlights and blade operation.
3. Faulty alternator or regulator – If the alternator or regulator is bad, the battery may not charge properly, causing electrical components to fail.
4. Blown fuse or faulty wiring – Damaged wiring or a blown fuse can disrupt power to the headlights, ignition system, or blade clutch.
5. Worn or broken mower drive belt – This can cause blades to stop rotating.
All these issues can be interconnected and should be checked systematically.
