and allow 72hours for temperature to stabilize.

Energy Smart

is located on the controls of models
equipped with the feature, as shown in the image,
What Enerqy Smart rM Does
If the ACM (/_tSpliance Communication Module) is
connected toyour refrigerator and is receiving
utility rate intormation, then Energy Smart
TM
feature alters the performance of the refrigerator, It
minimizes energy consumption when directed by the
TM
Nucleus (separately purchased device) or Smart
TM
Meter, The Energy Smart feature can cause
changes in refrigerator or freezer compartment
temperatures and can cause changes in the rate of
ice cube production,
EnergySmart
TM
Override
Pressthe Energy SmartTM_ad for 3 seconds to override the
Energy Smart
TM
feature, /he LED above the pad will flash
multiple times to confirm a successful override of the feature,
This will disable the feature from altering the performance of
your unit for 18 hours, Eighteen hours after the feature has been

disabled, the Energy Smart feature will continue normal
operation,

To Turn Cooling OFF;
To stop cooling in the refrigerator and freezer compartments,
first repeatedly press the Warmer pad for the freezer until its
display continuously flashes"1 ", Then, using the refrigerator
control, repeatedly press Warmeruntil both displays flash "0",
"0" in both displays turns off the cooling system, On some
models, it may be necessary to set only one control to 0 to
turn off cooling in both compartments,
NOTE; Turning the refrigerator to the O (off) setting via the
controls does not shut off electrical power to the refrigerator,
Control settings will vary basedon personalpreferences, u sage
and operating:onditionsand may require morethan oneadjustment,

Thetemperature controls are preset inthe factory at 37°Fforthe
refrigerator compartment and 0°Ffor the freezer compartment.
Allow 24 hours for the temperature to stabilizeto the preset
recommended settings.
Thetemperature controls can display both the SE,Ttemperature as well
as the actual temperature inthe refrigerator andfreezer.The actual
temperature may vary slightly from the SETtemperaturebased on usage
and operatingenvironment.
Locking the Dispenser
(on some models)
for 3 secondsto lock the
dispenser and control panel.

the key pads again for 3 seconds.
Setting either or both controls to OFFstops cooling in boththe freezer
and refrigerator compartments,but does not shut off electrical power
to the refrigerator.
NOTE; Therefrigeratoris shippedwith protectivefilmcoveringthe
temperaturecontrols.If thisfilm wasnot removedduringinstallation,
removeit now.
