Power over Ethernet (PoE) When using a PoE switch The Network Camera is PoE-compliant, allowing transmission of power and data to both run in a single Ethernet cable. See the following illustration to connect the Network Camera to a PoE switch via Ethernet cable. In this instance, have no use for AC adapter.
