The instruction manual contains important information on how to operate the machine securely, properly and economically. Observation of the instructions eliminates danger, reduces costs for repair and down-times, and increases the reliability and life of the machine.

    Product description 2.1 Product description The DÜRKOPP ADLER 281 is a special sewing machine for universal use.  It is a single-needle double-lockstitch machine with bottom feed for light to medium weight material and equipped with a standard sewing equip- ment (E2) for general sewing operations on clothing.

    Operation 3.1 Threading the needle thread Caution: Danger of injury! Turn off the main switch! The needle thread may only be threaded with the sewing machine switched off. – Put the thread reel on the thread stand. – Release the tension 4. Press the pin 6.
