Creating Music CDs with iTunes
To create a music CD using iTunes:

With your mouse, click Start
taskbar, choose All Programs, select
iTunes, and then click iTunes.

Click the Edit menu, and select
Preferences.

Click the Burning tab, and choose Audio
CD as the disc format.

Click the Use Sound Check check box if
you would like all songs on the CD to play at
the same volume level, and click OK.

Click the File pull-down menu, and select
New Playlist.

Enter a name for your new playlist, and an
empty playlist window opens.
Troubleshooting HP Tunes
If your HP Tunes window stops displaying album art
and song titles, or if you cannot control the playback
of your songs and playlists with the remote control,
you may need to reset an important HP Tunes utility.
HP Tunes may not work properly if:
Windows Media Player stops working

unexpectedly.
Windows Media Player was open when the
■
PC was shut down improperly or if there is a
power loss.

Drag and drop selected songs from your
source to your new playlist.

Click the Burn Disc icon in the
toolbar area. When the disc is
finished recording, the Burn Disc
icon disappears.

Insert a blank CD-R disc into your drive.

Click Burn Disc to begin recording your
playlist.
