Use u / d to change the display setting
ELAP:
The timer displays the time elapsed
since playback of the current song
started
REM:
The timer displays the time
remaining to complete playback of
the current song

Press SELECT to confirm your setting.
The cursor returns to the left of the "Time"
parameter.
6.
Press j.
The display returns to the Play Info screen.

Listening to an external source connected
to the MusicCAST server
You can listen to audio from an external source
connected to the OPTICAL IN, COAXIAL IN, or
ANALOG IN jacks on the MusicCAST server.
Notes
• This function is only available if your
MusicCAST server is connected to a correctly
configured YAMAHA AV receiver via a RS-232C
cable. See page 122 of the MCX-1000 owner's
manual for information on how to configure the
MusicCAST server and AV receiver, or page 128
of the same manual for information on how to
display a list of controllable YAMAHA AV
receivers on screen.
• The MusicCAST server can only distribute one
source signal to MusicCAST clients. Changing
the external source selection on any MusicCAST
client changes the source external source selection
for all MusicCAST clients connected to your
MusicCAST server.

to return to the Top Menu screen.
