Troubleshooting

If you think there is
something wrong
with the unit.
Before requesting
repairs, check the
following chart.
7 General
Symptom
The power switch does not
work.
No functions come on.
The remote control does
not work.
No sounds are heard.
The volume level will not
rise.

remains even after

Reset the unit. (See
page 7.)
Cause
Cables or connectors are not
correctly connected.
The fuse is broken.
The battery power is running
out.
Cables are not connected correctly.
The volume is turned all the
way down.
The front, rear, left and right
speakers are not properly
adjusted in level balance.
If the problem still
remains.

Request repairs.
Remedy
Check whether the cables are
plugged in correctly and firmly.
Remove the cause of the break-
ing of the fuse, then replace the
fuse. Be very sure the same
rated proper fuse is installed.
Replace the batteries.

Connect the cables correctly.
Increase the volume.
(See page 10.)
Adjust the relative levels
between the speakers correctly.
(See page 59.)
