To switch to auto mode and exit movie mode on Olympus SZ-14 and SZ-12 cameras, press the q button to switch to the shooting mode. Then, navigate to the Shooting mode menu and select Program Auto (P) or another desired auto mode. To ensure movie mode is off, check the Is Movie Mode setting and set it to Off if necessary.
