• Customers who purchased the HP StorageWorks 4000/6000/8000 Enterprise Virtual Array
(EVA4000/6000/8000) and the Sun Solaris operating system
• HP customer service personnel responsible for installing and maintaining devices connected
to the EVA storage system

• Subscribing to this service provides you with e-mail updates on the latest product enhancements,
newest versions of drivers, and firmware documentation updates as well as instant access to

New features
This release includes the following major enhancements:
• Support is provided for Veritas Storage Foundation Suite 3.5 and 4.0 on Sun Solaris 8 and Sun
Solaris 9 with the Veritas Array Support Library (ASL). For more information about ASL, see the
Veritas web site: http://support.veritas.com.
• Support is provided for Solaris 10 on the x64/x86 platform.
• Support is provided for EVA4000/6000/8000 controller software 5.031.
NOTE:
EVA4000/6000/8000 controller software 5.031 replaces EVA4000/6000/8000 controller
software 5.030.
